The world-famous 105mm Howitzer is an American artillery piece developed during World War II by Rock Island Arsenal.
This Howitzer field artillery fires grenades at a rate of 15 grenades/min and quickly conquered the army with its mobility, robustness and ease of use and deployment. Although limited by its range (maximum 11.5 km), it was widely used during World War II, the Korean War or the Vietnam War! Although production ceased in 1953, it is still used by some armies today.
