The JCB7 6-cylinder metal crawler excavator. The 7 was JCB's first 360◦ vehicle, originally developed and produced in 1965. It was powered by a 6-cylinder Ford 590E engine and produced 96 hp at 2250 rpm. The hydraulic excavator was based on an American design and was a 12-tonne class machine, capable of a maximum digging depth of 16' 9".The interior of the cab was quite simple, but that was typical of the mid-1960s design.
